1. Introduction
The Time Report Application has been updated to allow users to add activities to existing tasks on the time report. This feature improves reporting capabilities, making it easier to track and manage time.
2. Adding Activities to Tasks
To add an activity to an existing task, follow these steps:
- Click the plus sign next to the activity to create a new row.
- An additional row for reporting hours are added.
- Enter a name for the activity by clicking in the name field, this step is required.
- Add hours in the new activity row.
- To delete a row, click on the minus (-) sign located at the specific activity row. A confirmation pop-up will then appear, prompting you to verify the removal of the row.
3. Key Features
- Adding an Activity: Click the plus sign to add a new activity to a task.
- Renaming Activities: Users must enter a name for the activity, which is limited to 100 characters.
- Report Time on Activities: Time can be reported on newly created activities.
- Dynamic Plus Sign Visibility: The plus sign is only visible if the task is active and activity creation is allowed.
